Opal Ice Maker - Cleaning and Descaling (Models with a Round Button on the Front)

The Opal just requires the use of potable (prophylactic to drink) water. Some owners may choose to use but distilled h2o in their Opal. If using only distilled h2o, you will nearly probable not need to remove mineral deposits.

Descaling Steps:

  1. Fill the reservoir with vinegar to the max fill up line and sew together to three cleaning cycles.
