Ok so this is the introduction to Ultra Magnus in exodus right? I showed it to @autothotsrollout and we both agree that that doesn't sound like Ultra Magnus At All. If it sounded like any of the autobots it would probably be Arcee.

So now we have a crack headcannon that Arcee and Ultra Magnus are both trans, transitioned at the same time, and went: you know what would be REALLY FUNNY.... and then swapped names

its also worth noting that one of the novels said ultra magnus founded the wreckers while the show said he joined them (and wj quit after magnus joined)

something I wish ppl brought over more from G1 is that Starscream is 100% willing to self-roast or make a fool of himself if it means getting a chance to dunk on Megatron.

There's a scene where Megatron compliments the insecticons and Starscream is like "I think they should lead us they're clearly more qualified than the current dumbfucks in charge"

He really did revert to that mentality but also he's not like fucking dumb and so when Megatron is all like "ratchet went crazy and destroyed Cybertron 😔" Orion is like calculus meme and upon the realization that some seriously evil bullshit is going on, plays up the wide eyed innocent act but like quietly sabotages the decepticons plans while he bides his time till he can get out
